Forexmentor LiveConnect is headed by professional trader Jarratt Davis who's a full time Forex trader and a senior Forexmentor member. Jarratt began his trading education in 2005 after selling his commercial cleaning business. HOW DOES FOREXMENTOR LIVECONNECT WORK?

Jarratt has done extensive research on how a live trading room should function in order to provide the maximum benefit to traders.

Here's how Forexmentor LiveConnect works:

During the London and New York trading sessions, Jarratt and our trained moderators analyze the market in a way that is clear and easy to follow. The objective is to teach traders how to replicate the same analysis in their own trading, on their own charts and currency pairs. All moderators work under the guidance of Jarratt and use his techniques and methods.

Before each trading session, our moderators publish two pre-market videos (see Pre-London Example | See Pre-New York Example)

We focus on 3 factors which we believe are vital for long-term success:

1. Your Approach to Trading
2. Your Risk Management
3. Your Consistency

To keep it really simple, we break our analysis down into two main sections: 
 
1: DIRECTION
2: ENTRY LEVELS  

At the start of every trading session, we will look at what news is due out and discuss how those events may impact the trading day.

Next we'll conduct a top-down analysis using higher time frames to determine mostly likely price direction.

Typically, we check 3 time frames (daily, 4 hour, 1 hour) and looks for a confluence of market flows. For example, if 2 or more of the time frames show market flow to be up, the bias for that day will be long trades. 

Following the preceding scenario, we will then go to lower time frame charts and look for potential long trades in the BUYING zone produced by the daily pivot levels, together with fib levels, etc.

Members will be encouraged to develop this basic method into something that suits them and their personal circumstances. The focus will be on trading these setups on a consistent basis.

Pre-London and Pre-New York Video Analysis - Our moderators conduct a full video analysis of the market before the London and NY session open each day. Is this a live call service?

No. We do not give out live trade calls, or tell you where to buy and where to sell.

We believe that the best education is that which gives you the ability to navigate the markets yourself without any outside help. With that in mind, we will post possible trading set ups ahead of time, as per our strategies, but these are purely for educational purposes only, to help you see how the trades should look when setting up and playing out etc…

Who are the moderators?

How many trade set ups will be discussed during each session?

This truly is an insight into how professional traders operate in the markets; therefore we exercise extreme discipline when it comes to periods of market inactivity …. So some days there may not be any qualified set ups to take, during which we will sit on the side lines and make it very clear why this is. Other times the market moves, and we see several set ups occurring all at once, during which we will try and point out only the strongest trades for your information. In general there is at least 1 or 2 trades setting up per day.

Which trading sessions do you focus on?

We focus primarily on the London Session as a whole, and the first half of the New York session.

How can members interact with moderators?

The moderators will be clearly identified in the chat room, so if you wish to ask a question or discuss something feel free to start a conversation with them….. If you keep the chats to the public area of the chat room the whole community can benefit from them. If necessary, the moderator can launch into live chart mode to illustrate a trade setup. What about if I come in late or miss a session?

All trade set ups are posted as chart screen grabs inside the room, so that you can pop in and check the set ups we discussed during that session, as well as the Pre London and Pre NY analysis videos, we are also able to record all live sessions that are conducted during the day, and save these in the members area, which is readily accessible for all members.
