Pivots Trendline

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Looking at what happens after the London open at 3 AM EST, demand or support line and resistance, looking for breaks.  A nice short trade worth 30 pips was facilitated by adherence to the M1/M3 paradigm, 15 minute Hammer, TD TL break.  The end of run determined by 15 minute railroad tracks and TD TL break at M2.

Most Active Currency Pairs By Money Center

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

The pound/dollar currency pair barely trades during Austral-Asian trading hours leading to a more emotional and chaotic open when European trading desks enter the picture.  This creates an ideal situation for day traders.

M2/M4 Trade Example

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Feb 25th was an M2/M4 day.  At M2, price failed to penetrate M2 and formed a triple bottom consisting of a quasi railroad track and a long hammer.  Trendline break at 08:00 at the pivot point.  Drilled down to the 5 minute chart to confirm price break through and test of the central pivot. As price punched through M3, price did retest M3.  M3 then provided support for price to travel to M4.
