Canadian Dollar Forex Prediction

I predict that the Canadian dollar will end its six years of advancing prices in 2008.  Up until now, economic woes caused by its strength have been more than offset by bullish commodity prices.  2008 will herald in a different story. 

Canada has a nominal trade surplus, but it depends on energy prices.  Given that oil prices have hit the $100 mark, the focus will now shift away from an oil story to concerns about global growth.
